Biblical Authority

The Word of God is foundational to our lives. Its truths are timeless, unchanging and relevant. The Word of God is the ultimate and final authority for our faith and conduct.

Intentional Discipleship

Every follower of Jesus needs to gain greater insight of the Scripture thru training, discover their own unique gifting, learn how to influence others, and be equipped to effectively engage our culture.

Experiential Worship

Every Christ-follower needs regular times of gathering together with people of like faith to experience the presence and power of God. Worship, in our understanding, includes anointed expressions of music, corporate praise, opportunities for giving and the proclamation of
the Word of God.

Relational Ministry

We believe life was intended by God to be lived in relationship. We are committed to helping people make and build relationships that are life-supporting and life-changing through the power of Christ. Prairie Crossing Church should be a place where people find
help and hope, and lasting friendships.

Authentic Prayer

Prayer is the foundational support for our relationship with Christ and the impetus for our life and service. Prayer should be experienced as a personal lifestyle as well as shared corporately. Prayer must be understood as a conversation with God, not a monologue to God.

Global Missions

We are committed to impact our world locally, nationally, and globally. We seek to empower people by creating opportunities to serve, give, and build evangelistically and with compassion ministries.

Spiritual Gifts

The Pentecostal dynamic is Jesus’ legacy to the church. The empowerment given thru the Holy Spirit is essential in fulfilling our biblical calling. We are dependent upon the Holy Spirit to empower us with His gifting and manifest His fruitfulness in our lives.

What we believe

  • The Scriptures Inspired — The Bible is verbally inspired by God and is the infallible, authoritative rule for faith and conduct.

  • The One True God — Eternally self-existent, Creator and Redeemer, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and exaltation.

  • The Fall of Man — Created good and upright, man fell through voluntary transgression, bringing physical and spiritual death.

  • The Salvation of Man — Received through repentance and faith in Christ; evidenced inwardly by the Spirit's witness and outwardly by righteous living.

  • The Ordinances of the Church — Water baptism by immersion and Holy Communion.

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit — A distinct experience subsequent to salvation, empowering believers for life and service.

  • The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit — Speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

  • Sanctification — An act of separation from evil and dedication to God, worked out through identification with Christ.

  • The Church and Its Mission — The Body of Christ, called to evangelize, worship, build up believers, and show compassion.

  • The Ministry — A divinely called, ordained ministry to lead in evangelism, worship, discipleship, and compassion.

  • Divine Healing — Provided for in the atonement, and a privilege for all believers.

  • The Blessed Hope — The resurrection and rapture of the Church at Christ's return.

  • The Millennial Reign of Christ — Christ's visible return to reign on earth for a thousand years.

  • The Final Judgment — The wicked will be judged and consigned to eternal punishment.

  • The New Heavens and the New Earth — The eternal dwelling place of righteousness for believers.
